Hi, I'm Xyryl Clark, a contemporary artist based in San Diego, California.
I'm drawn to painting the ocean, maybe because I grew up on the coast of the Philippines, where the sea was always part of everyday life for 20 years. Its changing tides, quiet strength, and endless horizon continue to inspire the way I see the world and the stories I want to tell.
My work is rooted in hope, resilience, healing, and those quiet moments that often shape us the most. I started painting during a season of uncertainty, simply as a way to process what I was feeling. Over time, it became much more than that, it became my way of connecting with others through art.
Every piece I create is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and find a little piece of yourself in the painting. I love using expressive color, layered textures, and meaningful symbolism to capture emotions that words sometimes can't fully express.
Whether you're here to collect a piece, discover a story, or simply take a moment to pause, I'm so glad you're here. Thank you for being part of my creative journey.
